Crazy day…hedgehogs, my computer bag, work, school…

I have had the craziest day. Started out at work where it was a zoo then I sadly/historically made my last hormone compound with estriol, the drug companies sued the FDA saying it was non approved (hence, use their drug….so they can make MORE money) so now we cannot compound with it anymore…I am not sure what these women will do but I scrapped the last bit from the glass tube so that is done with. Then I hauled it to school, I have started this new thing where I type all my notes. My professors LOVE to post the notes 10 min before lecture and I am sick of battling with the nursing and other pharmacy students to print in the computer lab so I said screw it, I’m going “green” (or at least try) and stop printing notes. I do recycle all my notes when I am done anyways…

So I get home from school to get a call from my mother in law, the hedgehogs (yes, she has 2) got out and she can’t find them and she’s freaking out and she needs me to bring my parents dog over (who has an uncanny ability to locate these things, he’s done it several times, we found out when my parents babysat the hedgehogs and they got out at my parents house) so I run over there with my sister and spend an hour looking for them. We found one of them right away, Patrick (my parents corgi) kept sniffing over the furniture and there was nothing under them so I said maybe we should look in the drawers and yup, the first was somehow crawled up in there and was sleeping. The second one wasn’t as easy. Patrick kept going in my husbands brothers room and sat down, even jumping up on the bed. I kept asking him if he was sure because we looked EVERYWHERE, he just sat there looking at us SO we finally started in the closet and took everything apart and looked in everything and the hedgehog was inside the closet in the duffel bag. I was like OK, they are found, I am out.

We took Patrick to Mc Donalds and got him a plain cheeseburger as a treat for doing so good. Me and my sister didn’t get anything :)

THEN I get home to look down and see my pup has eaten/is in the process of eating my computer bag under the careful supervision of my husband, so I am pissed about that then I am off to yoga.

Yoga was good, my body missed the stretching. I was shaking during some of the parts because my core is still not that strong.

THEN I get home, finally at 9pm to read some blogs and relax and my pup starts throwing up, what do you ask? Little bits of my computer bag she ate, my husband is trying to tell me that she is fine and done but she keeps whimpering and I am worried about her. She didn’t eat much but poodles are fragile and I am worried. I think getting a puppy is teaching my husband SO well the concept that little children and dogs can get into things very fast and you have to watch them. He gets to clean it all up so very good lesson for him.

SO I am going to log off, I read as many blogs as I could. I am going to keep an eye on my pup, looks like she may be sleeping in our room tonight, I AM going to get my reading done for school then go to bed to wake up at 7am to go to school again….why haven’t I gone insane yet? It’s only day 2 of school….

Oh my goodness! What a CRAZY DAY you had! Animals, I LOVE them but they are soo much work! I want a CORGI! They are sooo cute! How great that they found the hedge hogs. My dogs would have prob had a little hedge hog sandwhich. Horrible thought, but true… I am sorry your pup ate part of your bag. I hope your pup got it all out of her system. It is scary, isnt it? I am glad you got to workout. I hope you have a better day tomorrow :)

Wow what a day and whats this drug your talking about and why is it historic like what do you use it for?? Sorry for all the questions I was just a little confused by the first part of your blog go figure lol… you got a pretty special dog to be able to sniff out things maybe he could make you a little extra side money lol maybe sniff out drugs for the local police or all the fatty foods people hide on their significant others that would be a funny one to watch. Sounds like your bag loving pup is kinda of special to lol hope he is ok and doesn’t end up like becky’s doggy.

are those hedgehogs pets?! They’re almost an endangered species over here in Ireland. We used to get a few down our cattle grid at home every year and now we dont see them at all anymore.

You had some day girlie! Hopefully todays a bit calmer
